Round 2 Gaming is a local game store and community hub known for its weekly events and tournaments. I collaborated with their team as a contract designer to create branded email newsletters, event flyers, and social media graphics that promoted upcoming releases and in-store activities.
This project includes a selection of approved assets—ranging from seasonal graphics to weekly newsletter layouts—used to build community engagement and event awareness through consistent visual storytelling.

Here’s a selection of published social posts, along with a few unpublished design variations that didn’t make it to the feed.
The Weekly Newsletter was designed as a multi-purpose piece that could easily adapt across channels—shared on social media, posted to the Discord community, and printed in-store for easy access. While my initial concept included linking out to the Mailchimp viewer, the team decided to keep all content viewable natively to maintain engagement within each platform.
When writing captions, I ensured all key information from the visuals was also included in text form to support accessibility and help platforms’ algorithms surface event details effectively.
Email Newsletters
A small sample of the weekly newsletter campaigns I designed for Round 2 Gaming. These iterations demonstrate the evolution of the project as we refined the design to meet audience needs—prioritizing mobile access, event visibility, and relevant merchandising.

As part of my time with Round 2 Gaming, these are the results and insights across the social and email channels that we worked on from May 30 - October 8, 2025.
Instagram Insights
Drove consistent growth through strategic content planning over 4+ months, achieving 12.2K total views and 54 new followers (↑23.9%). Content interactions surged by 786.7%, with a clear correlation between weekly Friday posts and audience growth. This sustained posting strategy built momentum and increased profile engagement throughout the period.
Facebook Insights
The team managed diverse content, including events and promotional posts over 4 months, gaining 38 new followers and driving 3.2K profile visits. Successfully navigated platform algorithm changes and declining organic reach trends while maintaining audience interest and community growth through varied content formats.
Mailchimp Insights
Maintained strong email performance over a 4-month period with a 99.6% delivery rate and 33.6% open rate—well above industry standards. Achieved excellent list health with just 0.18% unsubscribe rate (99.1% improvement from the same timeframe before I started), demonstrating effective audience engagement and content relevance throughout the campaign.
